ATCA members take the lead in the ever-evolving development of solutions for global air traffic management. Your access to ATCA committees, publications, and meetings increase your awareness of today's aviation environment and current work toward improving ATC safety, efficiency, and capacity.

  • The opportunity to participate in ATCA's Annual Conference and Exposition. The Annual Meeting provides each member with the opportunity to express his/her views to ATCA's officers and Board. The International Technical Program provides a forum for discussing key issues that affect the future of the U.S. National Airspace System and global ATC systems. The Technical sessions provide a national and worldwide focus on significant plans, programs, activities, and capabilities in ATC. The ATCA exhibit hall features the largest assemblage of ATC exhibits in North America.

  • The Annual Awards Luncheon and Banquet recognize those who have made significant contributions to air traffic control and safety.

  • Participate in ATCA's International Technical Conference and Exhibits. These events provide a forum for discussion of key issues that affect the future of the Global ATC System in venues outside the US.

  • Participate in National/International Symposia addressing various aviation-related subjects.

  • Receive the ATCA Bulletin, ATCA's monthly newsletter which contains reports on national/international ATC developments of interest and timely information on ATCA's activities as well as news affecting the association's membership. You will also receive ATCA's quarterly Journal of Air Traffic Control which contains scholarly articles and news reports on significant advances, developments, and techniques of interest in the field of air traffic control.

What are the benefits of membership?

How much does membership cost?

Your annual membership fee will depend on what type of Individual or Organization membership is right for you. See an annual fee list by membership type here!

How long will it take for my membership to be processed?

Your online application is processed immediately. When the data is imported into the system and your payment processed, you will receive a confirmation email with additional information, including your membership number, and your membership user ID and password for you to use to access the member portal. If you submit your application via mail, your application will take up to 2 weeks to be processed. 

Will I receive a receipt? 

Yes. If you join through our website you will receive an email receipt and confirmation. As well, once you have logged onto our website as a member you can go to My Orders and review your most recent orders/transaction as well as print a copy of your receipt from there.

How do I update my contact information?
To change or update your ATCA member information go to the MEMBER LOGIN page. Once logged in, you will be able to update/modify your profile information online.

 

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

My ATCA membership expired over a year ago. Will I lose my continuous date?
Yes. If you wish to retain your original continuous date of membership, you may do so by paying the back dues for the years that your membership lapsed.

How do I renew my membership? 
ATCA will notify you via e-mail close to when your membership is expiring. Once notified, all you need to do is to log into your account at https://my.atca.org/s/login/ and renew online. If you find it more comfortable renewing by mail that is fine, but that process will take more time. Simply mail a check with your invoice to

How can I become a member of one of ATCA’s Committees? 
You may nominate yourself or be nominated by another member for membership on an ATCA Committee. You can also nominate other members. If you are interested in participating on a Committee, please contact clarence.butcher@atca.org for further details.
