Glen A. Gilbert Memorial Soiree

* Tuesday, September 29, 2026

* National Air and Space Museum, Washington, DC

ATCA is very proud to present its highest honor, the Glen A. Gilbert Memorial Award, to Congressman Sam Graves (R-MO), Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, who has been instrumental in advancing policies that strengthen the aviation system, support workforce development, and ensure long-term operational excellence. As one of the most influential aviation advocates in modern Congressional history, his leadership was critical in securing passage of the landmark Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act of 2024, which directed meaningful improvements to aviation safety, innovation, and system resilience.or

Sessions will examine how emerging technologies can strengthen decision-making, support effective human-machine collaboration, and enhance the performance and resilience of the National Airspace System. The program will also address the growing importance of cybersecurity, cloud-based infrastructure, and data technologies in enabling secure, integrated, and scalable modernization across the aviation ecosystem.

Demo Day

* To be determined

* Capitol Hill

Championed by the ATCA Leadership Council, ATCA is exploring an opportunity to host a Capitol Hill Demo Day, providing an excellent opportunity to engage Members of Congress and their staff. The goal of this event is to showcase lively, interactive, and visual air traffic management (ATM) technologies that demonstrate the value of continued investment in the National Airspace System (NAS). As ATCA continues to advocate for the next tranche of modernization funding, we believe firsthand demonstrations can leave a lasting impression on policymakers and their staff.
