Commercial airlines and military aviation have already begun embracing these technologies to streamline routes, cut harmful emissions, improve customer experience, and optimize missions. We are just beginning to realize the full potential of these transformative technologies. Innovators across industry, government and academia are developing concepts that integrate AI/ML across all aspects of the aviation ecosystem as the technology matures and is proven as safe. These concepts imagine applications that deliver more rapid/real-time, predictive and intelligent data insights, improve the efficiency and experience for the flying public and even increase levels of autonomy in the operation. This panel explores how the aviation industry is applying AI/ML today and the most promising applications given current maturity of the technology and what might be possible as it evolves.
