Air Traffic Control Committee
|
Provides expertise on Air Traffic Control/Air Traffic Management operations worldwide. The ATC Committee will represent ATCA membership on issues relating to ATC procedural standardization, procedural development and changes and operational issues concerning confusing and contradictory rules and regulations. The ATC Committee will support FAA, ICAO and ANSP efforts to improve system safety and efficiency and help research and implement evolutionary changes in ATC operations.

ATC Engineering & Development
|
Provides expertise on Air Traffic Control/Air Traffic Management engineering, research and development efforts worldwide. The E&D Committee will support JPDO, NASA, FAA, ICAO and Air Navigation Service Provider efforts to improve the overall efficiency and safety of the worldwide air traffic control system. This committee will facilitate and participate in JPDO programs to create the next generation air transportation system.

Aviation Education Committee
|
Conducts the ATCA Scholarship Awards selection process, organizes and oversees special projects to further Aviation Education and teach the public about air traffic control.

Publications Committee
|
The Publications Committee assists the editor of "The Journal of Air Traffic Control" by soliciting manuscripts for publication; recommending topics and authors for solicitation by the Editor; reviewing manuscripts and providing technical and policy advice; and providing suggestions and recommendations on overall content and appearance of "The Journal of Air Traffic Control".

Publicity & Public Relations Committee

Responsible for increasing the flow of air traffic control-related articles into the popular media and assuming a prominent and active role in sponsoring and supporting legislation designed to stimulate and improve the role of air transportation and air traffic control systems.
